Ralph Dunne’s Petition to Boycott Superbowl 47

Ralph Dunne - Fleur de LisEarlier today WWL Reporter Monica Hernandez released a story: Who Dats find creative ways to protest Payton’s punishment. In the story she mentioned me by name (Ralph Dunne) and also mentioned the fact that the petition to Boycott Superbowl 47 had collected over 1,600 signatures.

I know most people aren’t going to boycott the Superbowl, but as I told Ms. Hernandez, it’s a way for the fan’s to show support for Coach Sean Payton.  It’s also a way for us to show our displeasure with the extreme punishment handed down by Commissioner Goodell for a practice that has been used league-wide for years.

Please take the time to go to the site to show your support of boycotting Super Bowl 47. For each person that signs the petition, an email is automatically generated and sent to Commissioner Roger Goodell. Here are some links to the site

I had also received an email response from WDSU Reporter Fletcher Mackel. Mr. Mackel stated in his email that, “the site should be taken down because the Super Bowl is a celebration of New Orleans”.  I wrote quite a lengthy reply to Reporter Mackel which is posted on the site. Please take the time to sign the petition to boycott Super Bowl XLVII. The Who Dat Nation fans need to unite and show their support for New Orleans Saints Head Football Coach Sean Payton.
